  • About the Comprehensive Yoga Fellowship
    The Comprehensive Yoga Fellowship is based in the north west of England and is open to all those who have an interest in meeting with like-minded people to share their experience of yoga. Our seminars are free to members and also open to non-members. The CYF was formed with the idea of training its own yoga teachers and our teacher training course is now a well established three-year course which is recognised by the Independent Yoga Network.

  • Yoga Teacher Training Course
    The Comprehensive Yoga Fellowship's Teacher Training Diploma has been designed to cover all aspects of Yoga in as concise and as practical way as possible. Structured as follows: a correspondence course consisting of three parts and a practical course requiring mandatory attendance of training and workshop days.

  • A History of the CYF
    The aims of the Comprehensive Yoga Fellowship are to provide a service on a non-profit making basis as well as operate in a spirit of friendship and fellowship, both within the membership and with other Yoga organisations. It was during 1987 that a group of like minded people agreed to a meeting at Faith House with Ted and Joan Lovett, Gordon & Pam Smith, and other teachers from the Northwest, North Midlands, and North Wales. After an exchange of ideas the C.Y.F became a reality
