"After practicing more or less daily
for 44 years, backed up with lessons and teacher training in more than one style of
yoga, I now have a valuable tool kit to draw on in my everyday
life. I regard my style as eclectic and I
attempt to be as holistic as possible offering a good balance of postures, breathing,
relaxation and include some snippets of philosophy and tips for
meditation.
With regard to
postures, I offer a large number and try to cater for individual needs, ages and varying levels,
always aiming to produce a balanced programme. Apart from warm ups and the sun salutation,
postures are presented separately and held individually. I aim to provide a safe, and
friendly environment, regarding my self as a facilitator, and have taught an age range from 13 to
83.
I have studied Hatha
Yoga with several different schools, including Iyengar, Sivananda, Asthanga Vinyasa, and
Satyananda. In 2012 I qualified with the Comprehensive Yoga Fellowship and have been
insured for twelve years to take classes."
